Los fabricantes farmacéuticos de Belarús y Cuba pretenden aumentar los suministros recíprocos de medicamentos. Dichos asuntos se discutieron el 20 de junio durante la entrevista en el Centro de Peritaje y Pruebas en Sanidad en Minsk. Tal información está disponible en la página web del centro, reporta BelTA.
En el transcurso de la entrevista Cuba fue representada por el primer vicejefe de BioCubaFarma Eulogio Pimentel Vázquez, el presidente adjunto del Centro de Ingeniería Genética y Biotecnología (CIGB) Jorge Valdés Hernández y los especialistas de BioCubaFarma Adolfo José Castillo e Idania Caballero Torres. Además estuvo presente el Embajador Extraordinario y Plenipotenciario de la República de Cuba en la República de Belarús, Santiago Pérez Benítez.
El líder de la delegación cubana Eulogio Pimentel Vázquez señaló que los sistemas de sanidad de dos países se parecen mucho al igual que la lista de enfermedades contra las cuales las industrias farmacéuticas de dos estados crean medicamentos.
Las partes discutieron las perspectivas de la cooperación en el campo de circulación de medicamentos y dispositivos médicos. Se estudiaron los asuntos de la puesta en práctica de la oportunidad para localizar la fabricación de los medicamentos belarusos y cubanos en el territorio de los dos países. Se estudiaron las propuestas de ampliar la cooperación entre los fabricantes farmacéuticos de las dos repúblicas para incrementar los envíos recíprocos de medicamentos, las perspectivas de empleo en Belarús de las vacunas contra el COVID-19 y la organización del intercambio de información en el campo de registro de medicamentos y artículos médicos de los fabricantes de los países participantes del memorando de entendimiento.
El director del Centro de Peritaje y Pruebas en Sanidad Dmitri Grinkó señaló que se había organizado un intercambio de información sobre los enfoques de regulación y reglas de registro de medicamentos y artículos médicos. Un interés particular de los socios cubanos lo despertaron los asuntos de registro y circulación de fármacos y dispositivos médicos según las reglas tanto nacionales como de la Unión Económica Eurasiática (UEE).
“El Presidente Aleksandr Lukashenko planteó la tarea al Ministerio de Sanidad de salir a los mercados nuevos de venta de productos belarusos. La República de Cuba es un socio prometedor en este aspecto. Una de las tareas de mayor importancia del sistema de sanidad es el abastecimiento de productos médicos accesibles y de calidad de los ciudadanos de nuestro país. Estoy seguro de que la interacción en dichas direcciones favorecerá el llenado recíproco de productos médicos de los mercados de dos países”, resumió el dirigente del centro.
La visita de la delegación de los representantes de la industria farmacéutica de la República de Cuba a Belarús se desarrolló del 16 al 20 de junio.
