Los diputados europeos apoyan el acuerdo de visado con Belarús

      Los miembros de la Comisión de Libertades Civiles del Parlamento Europeo apoyaron durante la votación a distancia los acuerdos con Belarús sobre la facilitación de la concesión de visados y la readmisión de personas que permanecen sin permiso. Tal información está disponible en el sitio web del Parlamento Europeo.

La votación final según los acuerdos está programada para su próxima sesión plenaria el 13 y 14 de mayo.

El 8 de enero, Belarús y la Unión Europea firmaron en Bruselas los acuerdos sobre la simplificación de la expedición de visados y la readmisión de personas que permanecen sin permiso. Las partes confían en que esto ayudará a facilitar los viajes de los ciudadanos, a desarrollar los contactos internacionales, incluidos los turísticos, así como a fortalecer la atmósfera de confianza y entendimiento mutuo entre los pueblos.

El acuerdo de visados prevé la facilitación mutua de los procedimientos para una amplia categoría de ciudadanos y la reducción de las tasas. Al mismo tiempo, los ciudadanos tendrán derecho a solicitar visados tanto en las embajadas de los países europeos como en los centros de visados. La decisión de expedir un visado se tomará en un plazo máximo de 10 días (en caso de inspección adicional, el plazo podrá ampliarse a 30 días).

El visado belaruso para los ciudadanos de la UE también será más barato hasta 35 euros. Además, se aumentará la lista de motivos para expedir visados gratuitos para fines no comerciales. El período de estancia de los extranjeros en Belarús se duplicará: de 90 días por año (ahora) a 180 días.

El acuerdo de readmisión estipula que, cuando entre en vigor, Belarús y la Unión Europea tendrán que llevar a cabo la admisión de retorno a su territorio de sus propios ciudadanos, los ciudadanos de terceros estados y los apátridas, que no cumplan o hayan dejado de cumplir los criterios de legalidad en el territorio del otro. En el documento se estipula que se concederá a Belarús un período de transición de dos años con respecto a la readmisión de nacionales de terceros países. En la declaración conjunta del acuerdo figura la obligación de la Unión Europea de prestar al país un apoyo técnico y financiero en esta esfera.

Los documentos deben ser aprobados por el Parlamento Europeo. Entrarán en vigor el primer día del segundo mes después de que las partes se notifiquen mutuamente sobre la finalización de los procedimientos de ratificación.

On this day, which is dedicated to inner and outer well-being of human body, people across the world practice yoga in groups. The International Day of Yoga aims to raise awareness worldwide of the many benefits of practicing yoga, a physical, mental and spiritual practice.
