马兹—潍柴有限责任公司的发动机生产工厂在中白工业园“巨石”投产交付。企业的正式投产仪式今天在“巨石”举行，白俄罗斯总理谢尔盖·鲁马斯参加了仪式。
总理说：“白俄罗斯已经与潍柴成功合作了20年。自2014年以来，明斯克汽车厂已为该公司生产了一系列配备Euro-4和Euro-5生态级发动机的受欢迎的卡车。一辆城市公交车和数百辆带有陕西变速箱的改装车被制造出来。 这是潍柴公司的一部分。我们的合作进入了新的阶段，签署了在俄罗斯组织生产柴油发动机的备忘录”。
该项目费用为2000万美元，其中中方投资1400万美元。 目前，生产的本地化率约为30％，任务是迅速达到至少50％的指标。
山东省副省长凌文说：“山东省人民政府高度重视这一项目的实施。在我们的共同努力下，我们将能够保证联合产品的高质量，并将本地化水平提高到50％或更高”。
白俄罗斯汽车厂控股公司的管理公司明斯克汽车厂股份公司总经理瓦列里·伊万科维奇指出，马兹在“巨石”建厂的同时，正在增加潍柴发动机在汽车设备中的使用。
他补充说：“我们希望我们的共同努力将加强马兹在传统市场中的地位，并成功在新兴市场中立足。在发展独联体国家和国外市场的销售，服务方面，还有很多工作要做。这将使我们能够成功地实现出口多样化”。
马兹—潍柴有限责任公司的合资公司由白俄罗斯和中国的两家旗舰企业—明斯克汽车厂和潍柴公司创建。 该工厂的建设于2018年4月开始。试行仪式于2018年11月举行。从那时起，该工厂就生产了一批试点发动机。
