作为国内从事索道缆车科研、设计和工程承包的龙头企业，我院具有全国唯一的索道专业甲级工程设计证书，上世纪八十代开始进行客运索道的研制。国产索道几种主要型式，包括第一条单线循环吊椅索道、第一条双线往复索道、第一条脉动索道、第一条新型脱挂索道等均由我院研制成功并推向市场。
我院累计已在国内设计承建索道及钢绳牵引类项目 300 多项，占全国客运索道数量近一半，国内市场占有率长期居于首位。产品已出口到亚洲、非洲等多个国家。同时还提供 50 余条进口索道项目的全过程技术咨询服务。
此次在展会上展示的是滑雪道索道，每个客厢可乘坐8人，每秒约6米，单线最大运量约每小时2000人。作为我院的拳头产品－单线循环脱挂索道，历经 8 年试验研制，通过国家验收。并在为未来索道交通研制试验，希望通过这次展会，让大家了解我院索道项目，为白俄罗斯滑雪、旅游索道等建设做出共同努力。
