New avenues of cooperation between Belarus and Vietnam were discussed by Belarus' Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko and Secretary of the Party Committee of Vietnam's Hung Yen Province Nguyen Huu Nghia, BelTA reports.
During the official visit to Vietnam, Roman Golovchenko held talks with Secretary of the Hung Yen Province Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia. The interlocutors voiced their intention to intensify interaction in a variety of areas.
Roman Golovchenko noted that he was glad to be visiting Hung Yen Province, since Belarus' cooperation with this region is more vibrant than with any other part of Vietnam. “It so happened that Hung Yen Province was Vietnam's first province to use Belarusian technologies in the manufacturing sector. This is largely due to your efforts to promote the economic development of the province,” said Roman Golovchenko.
He added that the province became home to the largest production site of MAZ Asia in Vietnam. “Today we have visited the MAZ Asia joint venture. This is probably Belarus' largest production facility in Vietnam. We hope that with your support it will expand its operations,” added Roman Golovchenko.
During the meeting, the prime minister also mentioned the project to build a factory to make dairy products. “Today we have seen the presentation of a project to build a factory to produce dairy products using Belarusian technologies and Belarusian powdered milk. There are plans to produce a large volume of dairy products that are popular all over the world, such as yoghurts, ice cream, butter, cheeses and so on,” the prime minister said.
“I would like to ask you to fast-track the issuance of approval documents to get this project started. This project will bring new investments in the region and help increase the gross regional product,” he added.
Roman Golovchenko also suggested exploring the possibility to cooperate in environmental conservation. Belarus could supply equipment for waste sorting and treatment to the region.
Nguyen Huu Nghia noted that at the moment the trade between the countries is not so big, but he emphasized that Vietnam hopes to ramp it up.

Lieber Dietmar,
das ist wirklich ein Dudelsack :) In Belarus wird es aber Dudá genannt. Eigentlich ist Duda ein belarussisches traditionelles Musikinstrument. Übrigens gibt es viele Arten und Formen von Dudelsack in verschiedenen Kulturen und Ländern von Südamerica bis Indien.
PS: das Lied ist Каляда На Балоце von Тутэйшая Шляхта. ;)

У шматнацыянальным Мiнску жыве шмат замежных грамадзян, таксама прыязджаюць турысты, якiя б маглi даведацца пра тое, што аббываецца ў краiне i за яе межамi праз радыё Беларусь.
