IMF started its mission in Minsk.

        The purpose of this visit of the experts is consultations with the Belarusian authorities. The working group already met with the representatives of the National Bank. According to the stand-by program Belarus received five tranches of IMF loans totaling $ 3 billion. New loan program at this stage is not discussed.
Following the visit to Minsk the IMF experts will prepare a report for the IMF Board of Executive Directors.
The IMF positively assesses results of cooperation with Belarus. Our country fully and timely pays all loan payments, fulfills its obligations under the cooperation program.
