Belarus will arrange a full-scale national expo at the 81st International Agricultural Fair which will be running in the Serbian town of Novi Sad from 20 to 26 May, Evgeny Vvedensky, the deputy director, chief of foreign exhibitions of Belinterexpo at the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, told BelTA. “Some Belarusian enterprises will display their products at the stand of Belinterexpo which is the operator of the national exposition. The products of the Belarusian engineering industry will be showcased in the open-air area,” he said.
The agricultural fair in Novi Sad is the biggest agribusiness event in south-eastern Europe. "The main focus of the fair is agriculture. Yet the exhibition presents a wide range of sectors of the economy which are one way or another connected with the agricultural industry. Serbia may be of particular interest to domestic enterprises for marketing their products and services in this region of Europe.
Given the wide range of countries represented at the exhibition, the fair could become a springboard for finding partners and new sales markets,” said Evgeny Vvedensky.
