Belarusian-Lithuanian consular consultations take place in Vilnius

Prospects of possible facilitation of visa procedures were discussed at regular Belarusian-Lithuanian consular consultations in Vilnius, the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry reports.

The sides also gave consideration to prospects of creating a Belarus-European Union readmission mechanism.

The sides discussed a broad spectrum of matters concerning interaction between Belarusian and Lithuanian consular services, pointed out the high level and effectiveness of the contacts, and shared views on future cooperation avenues.

Representatives of the interior ministries, the ministries of foreign affairs, and the embassies of the two countries took part in the consultations.
