Huawei’s smart transport system for Minsk

         The Chinese company Huawei, one of the world’s top three manufacturers and suppliers of telecommunication equipment for wired, mobile, and optical communication networks, presented a project for creating a smart transport system in Minsk before the Belarus government.
It was noted during the presentation that among other things the project's implementation will allow raising the performance of the mass transit system and the safety of vehicular traffic in addition to reducing emissions into the atmosphere.
        The Belarus Prime Minister underlined:

         “The project’s scale and innovative value are unparalleled in Belarus and possibly in the post-Soviet space.
        It is one of the projects that were discussed during my visit to China in January 2014. Back then the sides talked a lot about the architecture of Minsk’s smart transport system. The Belarusian and Chinese sides were very close to working out an algorithm to take care of the matter. Slightly more than one month later, representatives of the company Bel Huawei Technologies presented the finished project”.
