Belarus among top five search requests in U.S.

        Interest in Belarus has been steadily increasing abroad amid the Olympians’ successes in Sochi. According to Google Trends service, the term “Belarus” was among five most frequently entered words in the United States.
      President’s Day (marked every third Monday of February) topped the list. Second was U.S. actor, comic, singer, musician and TV host Jimmy Fallon. Google Trends’ third position was occupied by basketball player Michael Jordan. American figure skating champion Tonya Harding was fourth more frequently searched term.
Belarus also made it into top 20 real-time search requests in the U.S.     
      According to media reports, Olympic champion Darya Domracheva topped the Google Trends list in Russia on Monday. Google Trends showed the same results relative to Ukraine.
