Belarus’ preparations for EBRD Board of Governors meeting discussed in London

Belarus’ preparations for the EBRD Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors were discussed in London. The preparations for the forthcoming forum which is due in Warsaw on 14-15 May 2014 were highlighted at the meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Sergei Aleinik and President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Suma Chakrabarti. The parties praised Belarus-EBRD cooperation status and implementation of joint projects. The sides also discussed last year’s joint work within the 2013-2015 EBRD strategy for Belarus.

Belarus joined the EBRD in 1992. The EBRD total investment in Belarus made up €255 million in 2013.
