Lukashenko sends Independence Day greetings to Pakistan

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to President Asif Ali Zardari of Pakistan, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and all citizens of the country as Pakistan celebrates Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
 
“This holiday symbolizes the sovereignty, resilience, and unity of the Pakistani nation. Today, Islamabad is confidently demonstrating significant achievements in state-building, economic modernization, and strengthening its standing on the international stage,” the message to the president of Pakistan reads.
 
In his message of greetings to Shehbaz Sharif, Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that this year Pakistan has once again confirmed its commitment to the peaceful resolution of global and regional problems. The Belarusian head of state highly appreciated the constructive role of Pakistan’s prime minister in resolving the difficult situation in the Middle East.
 
“I am convinced that further deepening of Belarusian-Pakistani partnership in trade, industry, agriculture, and other areas fully aligns with the strategic interests of both states. I count on the effective implementation of the agreements reached during our meetings in 2024 and 2025,” the Belarusian leader emphasized.
