Belarus and Uzbekistan reviewed the schedule of upcoming visits and bilateral events during a meeting between Belarus’ Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Pavel Utyupin and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Belarus Nuriddin Mamajonov on 4 August, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties discussed current issues on the Belarus-Uzbekistan agenda, including trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation, as well as interregional ties. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of the agreements reached during the official visit of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Belarus on 8-9 July 2026. The sides reviewed the schedule of mutual visits and joint events planned for the near future.
The parties emphasized the traditionally open and trusting nature of Belarus-Uzbekistan relations and noted the constructive cooperation maintained at all levels.
