Sudan interested in cooperation with Belarus in manufacturing industry and power engineering

Sudan is interested in cooperation with Belarus in the manufacturing industry and power engineering. These matters were discussed during the visit of Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Valentin Rybakov to Sudan. Valentin Rybakov met with Minister of Oil of Sudan, Co-Chair of Belarus-Sudan cooperation commission Makawi Mohammed Awad to discuss preparations for the second session of the commission.

“A presentation of Belarusian machinery products was held and a procedure of elaborating most promising cooperation projects was discussed. The Sudanese officials showed interest in establishing facilities to assemble Belarusian trucks and joint ventures to manufacture fertilizers, engineering structures and construction materials, as well as Belarus’ participation in mining projects and construction of energy installations in Sudan,” the Foreign Ministry informed.
