Belarusian feature movie to be shown in Baku

Belarusian feature movie Babu produced by New Wave Production movie company and Belarusfilm national movie studio will be shown in Baku. The movie will premiere in the capital of Azerbaijan on 24 January. 

The movie shows ordinary people of different ethnic and religious backgrounds confronting the world of big money and big interests. It was shot in Belarus and Azerbaijan. The movie will be on screen in Baku for a week, after that it will be screened in movie theaters all over Azerbaijan. It was presented in Minsk in the autumn of 2013. In February 2014 it will be shown in Belarusian movie theaters. After that the movie will travel across the country. Preliminary agreements about the screening of the movie were reached with Russia and Kazakhstan.
