Lukashenko: Eurasian Economic Union has to be an international organization

       President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko is convinced that the Eurasian Economic Union must be an international organization. He stated this at the  meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.
Alexander Lukashenko noted that the work on the institutional part of the draft Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union is generally over. However, several sensitive positions had not been agreed at the expert level. President of Belarus stressed that it prohibits the countries from moving forward.
"I am convinced that the Union should be an international organization with the necessary legal standing. Such status is essential for the effective functioning of the Union.
It is clear to the world community and our citizens," - said the head of state.
