Belarus’ Council of the Republic ratifies agreements with Laos

      The Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus approved the bills to ratify several agreements with the Lao People's Democratic Republic.
     The MPs ratified the treaty on friendly relations and cooperation between Belarus and Laos, the Belarusian-Lao intergovernmental agreement on visa free travel for holders of diplomatic and official passports, the intergovernmental investment promotion and protection agreement.
The Council of the Republic also ratified the agreement with the UAE on mutual provision of land plots for diplomatic missions.
    The Council of the Republic ratified the agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka on the avoidance of double taxation and prevention of tax evasion with respect to taxes on income.
