Moscow to host session of Union State government 13 December

A meeting of the Union State Council of Ministers will be held in Moscow on 13 December, Belarusian Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich said as he met with State Secretary of the Union State Grigory Rapota. The agenda includes about 30 issues. Mikhail Myasnikovich said that the parties have something to discuss. "This year has been difficult. We actually work in the new conditions, including due to Russia's WTO accession," he said. Since the beginning of 2013, Belarus' exports to Russia increased by 4.5%. This is not bad, but we would like to have a higher increase,” stressed the Prime Minister. “I think the reason why we created the Union State was to increase mutual trade, to have interesting investment projects,” said Mikhail Myasnikovich. “And, of course, I would like to talk about the single, or at least coherent industrial policy,” stressed the Prime Minister. For his part, Grigory Rapota thanked the Belarusian Prime Minister for the opportunity to discuss the issues related to the upcoming meeting of the Union State Council of Ministers and other relevant issues during today’s meeting in the government.
