EurAsEC Education Center meets in Minsk

            Minsk hosts the 24th meeting of the Education Council under the EurAsEC Integration Committee. Participants discuss proposals on setting up a university rating agency in the EurAsEC, discuss ways to conduct a comparative analysis of national systems of training, retraining and enhancement of qualifications of the academic staff. The meeting also focuses on the progress made in the implementation of the action plan for 2011-2013 and consecutive years aiming at the priority cooperation areas in the education sector. Participants of the meeting will decide on the date for the 25th meeting of the Education Center of the EurAsEC Integration Committee. Minsk is also due to host a meeting of the CIS Education Cooperation Council. The agenda of the meeting will include more than ten issues. Members of the council will consider the theme and date for the 3rd CIS Congress of Teachers and Educationalists, discuss its information support, consider draft provisions for the CIS network vocational training college and the International Pedagogical Excellence Festival among other things.
