Belarus, Spain to exchange regular business visits

              Belarus and Spain have agreed to exchange business visits on a regular basis. The agreement was reached during a meeting between Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Vladimir Ulakhovich and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Spain to the Russian Federation and concurrently to the Republic of Belarus Jose Ignacio Carbajal Garate. In addition, the parties also agreed to organize a seminar-presentation of Belarus in Spain in 2014 and also to arrange a visit of the Spanish business community to Belarus. During the meeting, the parties discussed the general issues of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, the existing problems and ways to resolve them, the possibilities of expanding bilateral economic relations. The Ambassador noted that in the last two years the trade between Belarus and Spain has been steadily growing, which reflects the existing potential for cooperation. Promising areas of cooperation, according to the participants of the meeting, are machine-building, transportation, logistics and tourism.
