The shooting of the Memory Keepers documentary has started in Belarus. The film is a joint project of Belarus and Israel, producer of Nonstop Media movie company Yuri Igrusha told a press conference.
The film is about the tragedy of the Holocaust. During a year the production team will look for witnesses and documents that will reveal the truth about mass killings of Jews and the places where they were murdered. Sometimes it is pretty hard to find such places, Yuri Igrusha noted.
The film will be available in Russian and English. The production will be done by Nonstop Media (Belarus) and Zvi Shefy Productions (Israel). The film will be directed by manager of the Shoah Victims Names Recovery Project Boris Maftsir. He will visit dozens of places related to the Holocaust in Belarus and other countries.
