Kupchina to lead Belarus’ delegation at CEI ministerial meeting

        The annual Meeting of the Ministers for Foreign Affairs of the CEI Member States is held in Budapest. Taking part in the meeting are foreign ministers and deputy foreign ministers of all the 18 countries making part of the Central European Initiative. Belarus’ delegation is led by Deputy Foreign Minister Yelena Kupchina. The meeting is presided by Hungary’s Foreign Minister Janos Martonyi. The participants take part in a plenary discussion about the role and place of the CEI in the regional cooperation in Europe. A package of joint documents will be adopted at the end of the meeting. The documents include the CEI Plan of Action 2014-2016.  During her stay in Budapest Yelena Kupchina will meet with delegation heads of a number of participating states and top officials of the CEI Secretariat. She will also hold talks with representatives of Hungarian government bodies and companies with a view to promoting Belarus-Hungary political dialogue, bilateral economic and investment cooperation.
