Belorusneft to extract oil in Siberia

The industrial group Belorusneft has acquired another asset. The industrial group’s daughter enterprise OOO Belorusneft Siberia has acquired the company OAO Oil Company Yangpur. The newly acquired asset specializes in extracting oil and natural gas in Tyumen Oblast, Russia.
The acquisition of OAO Oil Company Yangpur is part of the industrial group Belorusneft’s business development program for Russia. The synergy of the oil extracting enterprise and the oil industry service enterprise, which are located in the same oil extraction area, is one of the principles that Belorusneft’s development strategy relies on.
The industrial group will be able to build up its own oil-extracting enterprise in Western Siberia using the physical infrastructure of OOO Belorusneft Siberia, which is located in the town of Gubkinsky, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District. The company already uses 12 teams to restore wells by drilling lateral shafts and 26 teams for major and minor overhauls of wells.
The total volume of extractable deposits and resources of the newly acquired enterprise exceeds 40 million tonnes, with the annual extraction of oil and gas condensate close to 140,000 tonnes.
