Belarus suggests joint work in financing venture projects to Israel. The proposal was voiced by Chairman of the State Science and Technology Committee of Belarus Igor Voitov as he met with an official delegation of representatives of the Jewish National Fund. The sides discussed prospects of bilateral scientific, technical and innovative cooperation in ecology, environmental protection, and the development of the alternative energy market. “Belarus and Israel have quite a well-developed scientific and technical potential and can channel joint efforts into accomplishing scientific and research projects of mutual interest,” said the Chairman of the State Science and Technology Committee. Such projects can be implemented in peat deposits development, peat extraction and processing, the preservation of biological diversity and restoration of wastelands, systems for water purification and filtering, the processing of domestic waste and industrial waste, alternative energy and “green” development of cities.
Apart from that, Igor Voitov invited the Israel side to work together to finance start-up venture projects.
