First points for Belarus in UEFA European U21 Championship qualification

      The Belarusian national football team celebrated their first victory in the UEFA European U21 Championship qualification. Belarus won against Kazakhstan 2-1 in Almaty.
      Group 10 standings are as follows: Iceland 12 points (4 played, goal difference 10-3), France 6 (2; 7-1), Armenia 3 (2; 2-2), Belarus 3 (5; 5-10) and Kazakhstan 3 (5; 2-10).
      This year the Belarusian team have one more game to play against Armenia. The match will take place in Belarus on 19 November. In 2014 Belarus are set to face France away on 4 March and encounter Armenia at home on 9 September.
     First-placed teams from the ten groups will enter the playoff round of the UEFA European U21 Championship qualification. They will be joined by four group runners-up. The final tournament of the 2015 UEFA European U21 Championship will be held in Czechia.
