Belarus-China interregional ties expanding fast

       Belarus and China are actively promoting interregional ties, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Belarus Gong Jianwei told reporters at the China’s Heilongjiang trade show in Minsk. “Besides cooperation in business, trade and economy, Belarus and China are actively expanding interregional ties. For example, Heilongjiang Province has joined intergovernmental programs and projects and this kind of cooperation should be promoted with other provinces, as well,” the diplomat said. Another proof of the robust interregional ties between Belarus and China is the decision to set up the sub-park of Harbin in the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park. Two joint ventures producing MTZ and Gomselmash special-purpose vehicles are already operational in Harbin. “Large-size powerful tractors are in great demand in China, because we now actively developing our agricultural industry,” the Ambassador informed.
        He noted that according to China’s estimates the bilateral trade in 2013 is expected to expand by 10-15% compared to the previous year.
