It is the unselfish love of mothers, big hearts of women, and their inexhaustible energy that keep everything going on our planet, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at a ceremony to present state awards and officers’ shoulder straps to distinguished Belarusians on 7 March, BelTA has learned.

According to the head of state, the spirit of the ceremony corresponds to the Year of Peace and Creation. The Belarusian society highly respects women who have chosen the difficult path of motherhood. “It is the unselfish love of mothers and big hearts of women, their inexhaustible energy that keep our planet going,” the Belarusian leader said.
