PM: EAEU economic ties keep strengthening despite sanctions

Economic ties between the EAEU countries are only getting stronger despite sanctions, Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko said at the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council meeting in Yerevan, Armenia on 21 October, BelTA has learned.

“As we all see, the year of 2022 is witnessing unprecedented and large-scale geopolitical events, which certainly affect our cooperation within the EAEU. Fortunately, and probably to the displeasure of our enemies, the impact does not meet their scenario. The relevance of Eurasian economic integration is growing. Our union continues to gain international prestige and develop dynamically in the face of brutal interference and sanctions pressure. Economic ties between our countries continue getting stronger,” said Roman Golovchenko.

The prime minister added that the situation demanded from the governments of the EAEU states decisive action in specific areas.
