Belarus’ world number 6 Aryna Sabalenka reached the Canadian Open Round of 16 defeating Spain’s world number 41 Sara Sorribes Tormo, 6-4, 6-3 in an hour and 50 minutes, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian will next face world number 11 Coco Gauff of the United States.
The tournament in Toronto will be over on Sunday, 14 August.
