World number two Victoria Azarenka of Belarus outclassed Aleksandra Wozniak of Canada (World No.323) 6-3, 6-1 in the US Open second round.

          The Belarusian needed just 68 minutes to book a third-round meeting with World No.28 Alize Cornet of France. Azarenka breezed to a 6-0, 6-0 win over 99th-ranked Dinah Pfizenmaier of Germany in the opener on 27 August.
       It will be the third meeting for Victoria Azarenka and Alize Cornet, with the Belarusian leading 2-0 in the previous encounters.
On 30 August Belarusian Max Mirnyi and Czech Andrea Hlavackova, 7th seeds, will take on Kaitlyn Christian and Dennis Novikov of the U.S. in the mixed doubles opener.
