#GBC 2022 forum kicks off in Minsk

Minsk is hosting the 2nd international digital forum #GBC (Government. Business. Citizens), BelTA has learned.

“Last year we held our forum for the first time and received very good feedback. We saw that people were interested in it, including our government bodies. This year we are holding this forum in a broader format and have invited more guests,” Andrei Pavlyuchenko, Head of the Operations and Analysis Center under the President of Belarus, said at the opening of the forum. “Today we need to meet, discuss the problems, look into the future and try to look beyond the horizon. If we do not do that, we may not have our independent, free and beautiful country.”

“Achievements of the Government and Business for Citizens” is the slogan of the 2nd international digital forum #GBC (Government. Business. Citizens) that kicked off at the National Library of Belarus on 18 May. The event is aimed at creating dialogue platforms to strengthen cooperation and find new solutions that can improve the efficiency of cooperation between the government, business and citizens, as well as to present Belarus' achievements in digital transformation.

Attending the forum are heads of government bodies and organizations, representatives of IT companies, banks, businesses, and the social sector. The forum is held under the auspices of the independent regulator in information and communication technologies, whose functions are performed by the Operations and Analysis Center under the President of the Republic of Belarus. The event is organized by the National Traffic Exchange Center with the support of the National Center of Electronic Services and the Belarusian Cloud Technologies.
