Russia and Ukraine delegatoins secure positive progress on humanitarian corridors, intent on further negotiations

Russia and Ukraine will continue consultations on the political block of issues. This was stated following the recent meeting with the Russian side by a member of the Ukrainian negotiating delegation, adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mikhail Podolyak, BelTA reports.

"We have received positive results in terms of the logistics of humanitarian corridors. Changes will be made to them," Mykhailo Podolyak said. According to him, this will help to more effectively provide assistance to people who leave the cities where hostilities are taking place.

Peace talks between Russia and Ukraine will continue, the head of the Russian delegation at the talks with the Ukrainian side, Vladimir Medinsky, assistant to the President of the Russian Federation, confirmed. "To be honest, our expectations from the talks have not been met. But we hope that next time we will be able to take a more significant step forward," the Russian negotiator added.

As reported, one of the central issues of the third round of talks was ensuring normal operation of humanitarian corridors. The parties also continued the discussion on political and military aspects. "However, it is not going too well. And it's too early to talk about something positive," Vladimir Medinsky stated.
