Lukashenko reviews Belarus-Russia military drills Allied Resolve 2022

Belarusian President, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Aleksandr Lukashenko visited the Osipovichi training ground during the Belarus-Russia joint exercise Allied Resolve 2022 on 17 February, BelTA has learned.

The president watched a tactical drill event involving missile troops, artillery, and aviation of the Union State armed forces, as well as the Russian Airborne Forces.

In line with the concept of the event, a tactical landing force of the adversary landed in the area of the Union State rocket-assisted and missile formations in order to destroy them. To prevent the imminent attack, units of the Russian Airborne Forces took defensive positions in the area where the mock enemy was likely to advance.
