Belarus, Egypt discuss cooperation in air transport matters

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt Sergey Terentiev met with Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for European Affairs Badr Abdel Atti of Egypt on 26 October, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties discussed the preparation of the 7th meeting of the Belarusian-Egyptian trade commission and touched on the cooperation in air transport matters.

The parties also exchanged views regarding the plans for joint events next year, including the first meeting of the commission on political dialogue and bilateral cooperation at the level of the foreign ministers of Belarus and Egypt and also cultural events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The parties highlighted the importance of the effective work of the existing mechanisms of interstate cooperation for the development of the entire range of Belarusian-Egyptian relations.
