Estonia's Narva hosts Belarusian Song Festival

The Estonian town of Narva has hosted the Belarusian Song Festival Our Motherland Belarus, BelTA learned from the Belarusian embassy in Estonia. The festival was arranged by the Narva Belarusian society Syabry. The festival featured music ensembles of the Narva Belarusian society Syabry, the Belarusian society Lyos (Tallinn), the Belarus-Estonia society BEZ (Jõhvi), as well as the Russian dance group Gorlitsa. The event was attended by Belarusian diplomats, representatives of the municipal administration, and representatives of diasporas living in Narva. The Belarusian Song Festival seeks to promote Belarusian culture and its rich heritage and to strengthen Belarus-Estonia cultural ties.
