The press service of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia made the relevant statement after a session of the Ecology, Nature Management, and Emergency Management Commission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia in Moscow on 18 May, BelTA has learned.
Members of the Union State parliament were informed about prospects of development of the green economy. Participants of the session of the Ecology, Nature Management, and Emergency Management Commission mentioned the importance of joint Belarusian-Russian efforts to shape an economic model that will be geared towards preserving natural assets and reducing the harmful impact on the world.
The MPs noted it is necessary to step up cooperation in the Union State of Belarus and Russia in these matters.
