Union State MPs suggest Belarus-Russia Festival of Local Television

      The Union State MPs suggest holding the Belarus-Russia Festival of Local Television. The idea of the festival has been put forward by the Lida Television and Radio Association.
The festival will be open to local television of other CIS and non-CIS countries. “We have many common issues, similar goals. An exchange of experience at the festival will help improve the quality of television products,” the MPs believe.
       In Belarus the popularity of local television has been steadily increasing. Against the previous monopoly of the central channels, today people have an opportunity to get information from various resources.
