Cooperation with Belarus is among Hungary’s priorities

        Cooperation with Belarus is among top priorities for Hungary, director of the department for strategic and institutional development of the Hungarian Investment and Trade Assistance Agency Anna Siladi told media during the Belarusian-Hungarian business forum at the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
      “The Hungarian government defined priorities in its interstate cooperation which comprises not only traditional partners from the EU and neighbors but also the countries to the east of Hungary, including Belarus,” Anna Siladi noted.
       The director of the department stressed that Belarus and Hungary are tied with long-standing mutual relations. “Hungary holds its strong presence in the Belarusian cattle breeding and crop husbandry. The Minsk Tractor Plant expanded into Hungary long ago and successfully works on the Hungarian market,” she said. Today Hungary counts on sci-tech cooperation with Belarus in engineering, construction, pharmaceutical and food industries.
