Belarus, France may soon sign agreement on cooperation in tourism

      Belarus and France may soon sign an agreement on cooperation in tourism. This matter was discussed in a meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to France Pavel Latushko and Mr Stephen Marchisio, a representative of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of France, we learned from the Belarusian Embassy in France.
     The Belarusian diplomat spoke about the development of the trade, economic and investment cooperation between Belarus and France in 2014. Special attention was paid to the projects implemented in Belarus with the participation of major French companies such as Peugeot Citroen, Accor, Danone and others.
    In addition, the meeting focused on the preparations for the first meeting of the joint Belarusian-French economic cooperation commission and the Belarusian-French business forum due in February 2015.
The parties took note of a big number of issues on the agenda of the joint commission covering such areas as manufacturing industry, agriculture, energy, transport and others.
