Guryanov: Political signals of Belarus, Poland accord with business expectations

         Political signals sent by the governments of Belarus and Poland are in tune with the expectations of the business communities of the two countries,
       Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Alexander Guryanov told reporters at a press conference in the follow-up to the Belarusian-Polish Economic Forum in Warsaw.
         “A total of 500-600 people took part in the forum. The forum was not only about presentations, reports and comments on joint projects, but also communication behind the scenes,” Alexander Guryanov said. In his words, at present the two countries are revisiting the approaches to cooperation in order to make joint projects mutually beneficial. Alexander Guryanov noted that in recent years 11 so-called greenfield projects have been implemented in Belarus together with Polish businessmen. “These projects are estimated at over $120 million. These projects are a good example for other Polish companies seeking to operate on the Belarusian market and on the territory of integration associations,” he emphasized.
