Rumas: EEU and CU should develop cooperation in the spirit of partnership and equality

            The cooperation between the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) and the Customs Union (CU) should be developed in the spirit of partnership and equality, Sergei Rumas, Chairman of the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus, a member of the Presidium of the Council of Ministers, a member of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission on Belarus' behalf said as he spoke at the 3rd Eurasian forum “Innovations and International Integration” in Verona, Italy, the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Belarus reports. In his greeting word head of the Belarusian delegation Sergei Rumas underlined Belarus’ important role in the Eurasian integration and confirmed the country’s commitment to the idea of the integration of integrations voiced by its President Alexander Lukashenko. The main goal of this idea is the creation of the common economic space from Lisbon to Vladivostok. Sergei Rumas also emphasized a huge potential and cooperation prospects for cooperation between the EEU and the CU, stressing it should be developed in the vein of partnership and equality.
