Eurasian Economic Commission to resolve Soviet brands problem soon

      In the near future the Eurasian Economic Commission intends to resolve the problems caused by different companies in different Customs Union member states using the same Soviet brands, BelTA quotes from Nurlan Aldarbergenov, Member of the Board for Competition and Antimonopoly Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Commission. The official is currently in Mink on a official visit. According to him, Soviet brands represent an important topic for the Eurasian Economic Commission. Nurlan Aldarbergenov said he believes the matter will be closed soon. “The relevant work is in progress, there are consultative committees,” said the Minister.
      Apart from that, the Eurasian Economic Commission is in favor of equalizing tariffs on railway and air transportation of passengers and will take certain steps to reach that goal. The Eurasian Economic Commission is also studying the medications market of the three countries.
