Valevach: CSTO member states need to harmonize their laws on defense and security



        The defense and security legislation of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) member states requires approximation, Zygmund Valevach, member of the permanent commission for national security of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus, member of the permanent commission for security and defense of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly, told journalists in during the visiting session of the permanent commission of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly.
      The participants of the session discussed the draft recommendations on the harmonization of the legislations of the CSTO member states regarding the assets of critical importance and recommendations on the harmonization of the national laws on information and communication security of the CSTO member countries. “The approximation of defense and security laws is one of the main responsibilities of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly. It is vitally important to harmonize legislations in these fields,” Zygmund Valevach said.
