The Belarusian mechanical engineering company Gomselmash is busy preparing a batch of forage harvesters KVK-8060 Palesse FS8060 for shipment to Argentina. The model is the most powerful one that the company makes, Igor Korotkevich, Head of Gomselmash’s Non-CIS Sales Office, told reporters.
The harvesters will be shipped to South America in October for the sake of going through presale inspection in the Argentinian branch of Gomselmash in San Francisco before mass foraging starts in December. “We hope that the harvester with its 600hp engine will be in demand on the local market. Its parameters are on par with similar products made by the world’s leading manufacturers. The harvester can effectively gather in large areas of high-yield corn and sorgo,” noted Igor Korotkevich.
The Argentinian branch has been carrying out presale inspections, selling, and offering technical services for two Palesse models for over ten years now. Every year the company sells about ten machines there. The presence of the Belarusian manufacturer is important due to several reasons. Thanks to the Argentinian branch Gomselmash has started selling machines to Brazil and now negotiations with Uruguayan companies are in progress.
