Direct contacts between Belarusian, Argentinian companies needed

       Belarusian and Argentinian companies should establish direct contacts. The relevant matters were discussed at a meeting of Belarusian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Guryanov and Carlos Alberto Bianco Secretary (deputy minister) for Foreign Economic Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship of Argentina, the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry reported.
       The meeting took place during Alexander Guryanov’s visit to South America. The sides mentioned the importance of establishing direct contacts between Belarusian and Argentinian companies, discussed the exchange of visits of representatives of the business circles of the two countries and participation in exhibitions and fairs.
Participants of the meeting also discussed ways to step up trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Argentina, stressed the need to organize the operation of the bilateral commission for business cooperation.
      Apart from that, during the visit the Belarusian Deputy Foreign Minister met with top officials of the Ministry of Agriculture, Science, and Technology of Argentina, and with executives of the oil company YPF. The sides reached agreements to advance cooperation in these areas.
