Belarus’ companies seek to win contracts of Russian Railways

        Belarusian companies are set to tender for contracts to supply products for Russian Railways, the press service of the Belarusian Embassy in Russia reported following a meeting of representatives of Russian Railways and Belarusian manufacturers. “Participation in Russian tenders is top on the agenda of Belarusian producers. The Russian procurement market is very attractive, but demanding when it comes to quality, price and other terms of supplies. The participants of the meeting expressed confidence that the cooperation between Belarusian and Russian partners will promote bilateral contacts and will make cooperation more efficient,” the press service informed.  Representatives of the procurement center of Russian Railways, Roszheldorsnab and the trading house of Russian Railways held a presentation to inform the Belarusian delegation about planned amendments to the tender rules of Russian Railways.
The parties discussed supplies of machinery, light industry products and foodstuffs. The attending Belarusian companies presented their new products.
