Belarus condemns acts of violence in Iraq

Belarus condemns the activities of terrorist groups and acts of violence in Iraq, Spokesman for the Belarusian Foreign Ministry Dmitry Mironchik told a press briefing in Minsk:

"Belarus has been closely following the developments in Iraq. We are concerned over the escalation of the conflict and condemn the activities of the terrorist groups and acts of violence that have resulted in numerous casualties. Hundreds of thousands of Iraqi sitiaens became refugees.

Belarus hopes that the situation in Iraq will stabilize as soon as possible, the territorial integrity of the country will be preserved, and the sectarian disagreements will be resolved."
