The 10th Festival of National Cultures completed in Grodno

      The 10th Festival of National Cultures completed in Grodno. The central event of the second day was the presentation of national booths.
      For example, the Dagestani brought to Grodno their celebrated knives and handmade silver jewelry by the famous kubachynskih craftsmen. Head of the Goro Dagestani national association Khizri Asadulaev shares his impressions of the festivities:

       “I call this festival the fireworks of the soul. It’s difficult to describe it in any other way. By becoming part of this festival those people who used to live their lives and know only their neighbors and colleagues have acquired a lot of new friends. We all have become a family over the years of participation, and we participate in the event ever since 2002. The atmosphere here is really unique. Just ten steps away from one improvised stage you find another one, with a totally different music, voices, costumes and cuisine. It’s like you take a trip across the globe without actually having to go very far.
Here in Grodno at the festival of National Cultures you can see Venezuela, China, Italy, France… and Dagestan, of course.”
