Belarus into Eurovision finals

Belarusian singer Teo will take part in the finals of the Eurovision- 2014 international song contest, where he will be the second to sing. This became known following the second semi-final in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Other finalists from the second semi are  SEBalter (Switzerland), Tinkara Kovacs (Slovenia), Donatan & Cleo(Poland) , Paula Seling and Ovi (Romania), Carl Espen (Norway ), Freaky Fortune and RiskyKidd (Greece), Firelight (Malta), Softengine (Finland), Conchita Wurst (Austria).

Over the 11 years of participation in the competition it is the fourth time that Belarus reaches the finals. So far, the highest score at the Eurovision among Belarusians belongs to Dmitry Koldun. In 2007 he became came in sixth with the song "Work your magic". In 2010 the Belarusian band "3 +2" with the track "Butterflies" was the 24th. This result was somewhat improved in the past year by Aliona Lanskaya: her song Solayoh landed her on the 16th position.
