Swiss insurance companies, Belarusbank to bolster cooperation

        Swiss insurance companies are ready to expand cooperation with Belarusbank, the bank’s press service told media. During a recent visit to Switzerland the Belarusbank delegation held negotiations with top executives of the Swiss national agency for insuring export loans SERV. The sides praised the existing level of cooperation.
      Yet Belarusbank Chairman of the Board Sergei Pisarik pointed out the need to advance cooperation to a new level. “The financing of international trade and major national investment projects, which are implemented with assistance of foreign partners, is one of the most important strategic branches in the operation of the bank.
      We are ready to step up these operations,” he stressed. The Swiss side reciprocated by putting forth a number of initiatives. Belarusbank is a reliable partner in Belarus for SERV and Swiss financial institutions, said Herbert Wight, Director of Swiss Export Risk Insurance (SERV).
